1. Eligibility:
The Great Pigskin Spin Sweepstakes (hereinafter the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to permanent, legal U.S. residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Territories and Possessions) who are physically located and residing therein and who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older and the age of majority in their state of residence at the time of the Sweepstakes entry. Local taxes, fees and other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the Winner. Employees or the immediate family of Employees of The Rudolph Foods Company (“Sponsor”) or any distributor, representative, agent or affiliate of The Rudolph Foods Company (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”) and their immediate families (defined as spouse, mother, father, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters, regardless of where they reside) and members of their households (whether related or not) are ineligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. Limit one entry per person per each 24-hour period.
2. How to Enter:
To enter the Sweepstakes, during the Sweepstakes Period as defined below, interested individuals must enter The Great Pigskin Spin Sweepstakes at PorkRindAppreciationDay.com. A valid entry must consist of all of the following a) entrant’s name b) entrant’s email c) zip code where entrant resides d) selection of preferred pork rind brand.
No purchase is necessary to win. Individuals may enter one time within 24 hours of the previous entry. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all Federal, State and Local laws. All entries become the property of The Rudolph Foods Company and said entries will not be acknowledged. Completion of and receipt of an entry is the sole responsibility of the participant. The Rudolph Foods Company, its employees or agents will not acknowledge or respond to any inquiries regarding the receipt of or status of any entry. The Rudolph Foods Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes in whole or in part at any time should any unforeseen occurrence cause the fair and impartial continuation of the Sweepstakes to be impossible. By completing the act of entry, each participant agrees to abide by the Official Sweepstakes Rules herein stated. By entering The Great Pigskin Spin Sweepstakes, participants agree to be added to the Rudolph Foods Brands e-newsletter list. You may unsubscribe at any time. The use of your email will only be for promotional email and e-newsletters pertaining to Rudolph Foods Brands only.
3. Sweepstakes Period:
The Sweepstakes Period begins at 12:01 AM EST on October 1, 2021 and ends at 11:00 AM EST February 14, 2022. Winner will be announced by February 28, 2022.
4. Prizes:
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded in a random drawing from all eligible options. The Grand Prize includes one year’s supply of pork rinds, equivalent to 12 cases of Rudolph Family of Brands snacks and products and five thousand dollars ($5,000). The total estimated value of this prize package is approximately $5,500. Three Runner Up Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from all eligible option one and option two entries. Each Runner-up Prize will include a three month supply of pork rinds, equivalent to three cases of Rudolph Family of Brands snacks and products and five hundred dollars ($500). The total estimated value of each Runner up prize package is approximately $650.00. The Rudolph Foods Company reserves the right to give a cash or gift card equivalent to any or all prize winners.
All other expenses not specifically identified in these Official Sweepstakes Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner. An entrant eligible to win the Grand Prize will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release (where legal), and a Publicity Release (“Affidavit/Release”), except where prohibited. The Rudolph Foods Company, its employees, contractors, directors and officers, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, franchisees, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies, as applicable, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, members, employees, agents, successors and assigns, and all others associated with the development, promotion, evolvement and execution of this Sweepstakes, are not responsible if the Grand Prize or runner up prizes cannot be awarded. The Sweepstakes Entities will be held harmless for any liability, loss, injury or damage, including, without limitation, personal injury, death or damage to personal or real property, to entrant or any other person or entity due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize (including any travel or activity related thereto).
The Rudolph Foods Company will make every effort to award the Grand Prize and runner up prizes as described. In the advent that act of God, forces of nature, adverse weather, or any other unforeseen events or changes in any Federal, State or Local rules make it impossible to safely complete Sweepstakes an alternate prize may be substituted and awarded to the Grand Prize Winner and runner up winners (hereinafter the “Winners”) at the sole discretion of The Rudolph Foods Company. Federal, State, and Local taxes, fees and other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the Winners.
5. Prize Drawing:
All potential Prize Winners will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or before February 28, 2022 from all valid entries received during the Sweepstakes Period as defined herein. If the potential Winners either declines the prize, cannot be contacted within seven (7) calendar days of the random drawing or is deemed ineligible to accept the prize, an alternate Winner may be chosen at the discretion of The Rudolph Foods Company. The number of entries received will determine the odds of winning and all valid entries received will be treated equally. The Rudolph Foods Company reserves the right to give a cash or gift card equivalent to the winner for snacks, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash Prizes may not be redeemed for cash value, except as determined by Rudolph Foods. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entrants participating during the Sweepstakes Period.
6. Limitation on Liability:
The Rudolph Foods Company is not responsible for the loss or destruction of any equipment and cannot guarantee the safety or comfort of individuals participating in the Sweepstakes. All warranties of any type or function whether expressed or implied are disclaimed by The Rudolph Foods Company and the Winner by accepting the Grand Prize and winners to the runner up prizes. The Winners assume all risks in the participation of the Sweepstakes, whether before, during or after any and all associated activities and the Winners further agree to release from all claims and hold harmless all employees, officers, directors, affiliates or agents of The Rudolph Foods Company. Furthermore, by completing the act of entering the Sweepstakes each entrant releases The Rudolph Foods Company, its subsidiaries and affiliated businesses and the officers, directors, contractors, employees and agents of each from any and all liability, damages, claims or causes of actions of any kinds for injuries, damages or loss of property which may be sustained whether before, during or after any and all associated activities in connection with the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by Sponsor, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by technical or human error which may occur and/or which may damage a user’s system or limit a participant’s ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CIVIL LAW. SHOULD AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
7. Rule Changes:
The Rudolph Foods Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes in whole or in part at any time should any unforeseen occurrence cause the fair and impartial continuation of the Sweepstakes to be impossible. Rudolph Foods Company reserves the right, without prior notice and at any time, to terminate the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, or modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or any portion thereof, in any way, if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is impaired or corrupted or that fraud, breach of confidentiality, or technical problems, failures or malfunctions have destroyed or severely undermined the integrity and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes.
8. Winners Responsibilities:
Winners are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any State, Local, or Federal tax liabilities. Before receiving any Prize, the Winner must submit an affidavit of eligibility and compliance with the Official Sweepstakes Rules including a statement that the Winner is capable of performing all duties required to safely accept and participate in all activities associated with the Sweepstakes Grand Prize and Runner up prizes. Furthermore, by accepting any Prize the Winner agrees to notify The Rudolph Foods Company or its agent of any physical limitations or complications that may affect the Winner’s safe completion of any activity whether before, during or after any and all associated activities in connection with the Sweepstakes. The Winner shall not use the Prize in any manner not specified by The Rudolph Foods Company, including, but not limited to, advertising, promotions or subsequent sweepstakes. All Prizes cannot be transferred, assigned, or sold to another and Prizes cannot be redeemed for a cash value. Sponsor reserves the right to suspend the “Sweepstakes” for any reason at the sole discretion of The Rudolph Foods Company, including, without limitation, any safety or legal concerns.
9. Publicity Release:
By accepting the Grand Prize and/or Runner up Prizes, the Winner will agree to give written permission to The Rudolph Foods Company, its designees and agents for the right to use the Winner’s image and or likeness and name in any form of written or photographic publication, including, but not limited to, live or recorded video display and/or voice transmission of the participation in the Grand Prize or any Runner up Prize including all rights of publicity. The Winner further agrees not to take any action or allow any other person to so act as to impede any use of the Winners image, voice and/or likeness and name in any publicity related to any Prize.
10. Governing Law:
By completing the act of entering the Sweepstakes each entrant agrees that the Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Sweepstakes Rules shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio.
